- $260 Scenic View Room Visiting Family Rate – Must be the Employee’s Parents, Children or Siblings
The Following Blackout Dates for Employee Rates are Subject to Change based on Hotel Occupancy

May 3 to May 6, 2023 (Japanese Golden Week)
May 3 to May 6, 2023 (Japanese Golden Week)
July 1 to Aug 19, 2023 (Peak Summer and OBON)
Nov 23 to 25, 2023 (Thanksgiving)
Appropriate conduct and professionalism of everyone in the party is expected while utilizing these rates. Any falsification of the reservation or inappropriate conduct or behavior during your stay may result in a loss of stay privileges and/or disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

The Kahala Employee Rate Requirements
- The daily rate is $160 for a Scenic View room plus applicable taxes based on 1 or 2 adults occupancy including the KISCA fee.
- Maximum length of stay is 2 nights per reservation.
- Must Check-in with completed Kahala Travel Pass linked below
- Reservation Must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance of the arrival date.
- Employee is allowed to make multiple consecutive reservations of 1 to a maximum of 2 nights.
- Maximum occupancy of 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children persons per room or suite
- Additional adult charge is $100 per person daily plus taxes.
- There is no additional charge for children 17 years and under
- Bedding type of one king or two double beds may be requested at time of booking but not guaranteed.
- Additional bedding is $85 per rollaway bed daily plus taxes.
- Employee must check in and occupy the room.
- Reservations cannot be booked more than 180 days prior to arrival.
- One night deposit will be charged upon booking.
- The deposit will be refunded if a cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
- Blackout dates apply and availability is subject to change at anytime.
- The confirmation email must show the employee’s name and the employee rate
- Employee must be employed at the time of check-in
The Kahala Employee Rate Procedures
Presentation of the completed Travel Pass authorizes the employee to receive the rates made available exclusively to Kahala employees and their immediate families based on availability at The Kahala Hotel and Resort. One form must be filled out per room per stay. Completed forms can be sent to Reservations via interoffice mail or emailed to reservations@kahalaresort.com.
The Reservation is NOT considered confirmed until the Travel Pass is received by the Reservations Department.
Employee must present a completed Travel Pass and the employee ID upon check in.
