    Spend more time together as a family at The Kahala Hotel & Resort. Book any room using the Family Plan and children aged 17 and under can stay with their parents at no extra cost. Choose from one king or two double beds for added comfort.

    Maximum Occupancy & Check in

    Rooms and suites allow for double occupancy as a standard and can accommodate a maximum of four guests at an additional cost of $100 for each extra person and $100 per rollaway bed. Two bedroom suites can accommodate six people. Two rooms requiring connecting doors must be confirmed in advance by calling Kahala Reservations directly, a $250.00 plus tax one time charge will be applied to guarantee the rooms.

    Check-out time: 12:00 noon
    Early/late check in/out: Immediate access to your accommodation on arrival can be guaranteed by booking the room for the night before. For late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee your accommodation until you depart. We are also happy to offer our superb Hospitality Suite and luggage storage arrangements.

    Extras: Overnight parking is $55 per night. Dog program available for $150, dogs must be under 25lbs. Sample dog waiver form required at check in.

    • While they learn, why not treat yourself to a relaxing Couples Massage at the Kahala Spa? We are proud to partner with Aloha Sitters to offer child-sitting services so you can give yourself a much-deserved break. View spa services.
    • After a quick lunch at Plumeria Beach House, hop on our complimentary shuttle to the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. From there, it’s a short walk to the Waikiki Aquarium or Honolulu Zoo where your family can spend the afternoon marveling at the creatures of the deep or meeting friendly beasts from around the world.

    Day 3: Snorkel & Beach Adventure

    • Wake up bright and early to go snorkeling at the legendary Hanauma Bay. Please note that reservations must be made in advance to enter the park.
    • Return home to spend a golden afternoon on the secluded beach in front of our hotel, where the gentle waves are safe for all ages. For your convenience, we offer beach gear including snorkels and fins, bodyboards, kayaks and paddle boards.

    • On your second day, rent a car at our on-property car rental desk and head west for a leisurely drive around Diamond Head. Afterward, continue on to the eclectic neighborhood of Kaimuki, known for its vibrant art and food scene.
    • After returning for a short nap, head to the Kahala Spa for our signature Romance Treatment, which includes a customized full-body massage, a deep soak tub with rose petals and a soothing facial.
