Pool & Recreation
The freshwater swimming pool and whirlpool hot tub overlook the ocean and are bordered by the 26,000-square-foot Dolphin Lagoon and man-made tide pools with a variety of marine life. The pool and beach staff can coordinate your snorkeling, surfing, canoeing, fishing, and stand-up paddle boarding activities. Private beach cabanas and cabana lounges are available for rent by reservation for half day and full day use. Deck chairs, sun toiletries, and towel service are located at the Pool Center. Complimentary cold treats are served in the afternoons.
The Kahala Spa
The award-winning Kahala Spa, with its serene outdoor rest area, ten spacious massage and treatment suites, and exclusive brands of spa products, is an idyllic choice for pampering and rejuvenation for both women and men. It continues to set new trends and maintain high standards for health and beauty treatments ranging from facials, manicures and pedicures, to massage and body treatments.
CHI Health Energy Fitness Center
Personal Trainers at the CHI Health Energy fitness center will customize a complete fitness program in consultation with your home fitness counselor or you can try one of the Pilates, stand-up paddle board yoga, hula aerobics, or The Kahala Beach Workout classes during your stay. The fitness center offers cutting-edge cardiovascular and resistance machines by Life Fitness along with an integrated cable TV system with multiple language selections. CHI Fitness Center is open 24 hours a day with easy room key card access and offers separate sauna, steam rooms, and Jacuzzi for men and women.
Unique and culturally-enriching programming includes various Dolphin Quest encounters for children and adults. These interactive programs teach participants about marine mammals and other sea life and include a variety of hands-on experiences with live dolphins.
The Kahala’s Keiki Club programs and adventure activities include reef walks, bamboo pole fishing, and Hawaiian arts and crafts.
