Celebrate Planet Earth By Giving Back

At The Kahala Hotel & Resort, sustainability and hospitality go hand in hand. The unique experiences guests have at The Kahala are made possible by our celebrated connections to our island’s land, ocean and culture. Through the Kahala Initiative for Sustainability, Culture and the Arts (KISCA) and our accredited green initiatives, we are working to preserve our island home for generations to come. We invite you to be part of our journey to a brighter tomorrow.

Restore Hawaii's diverse ecosystem by donating $90 to the Kahala Legacy Forest —located at Gunstock Ranch in Malaekahana on the North Shore of Oahu. The Kahala Legacy Forest represents Kahala's commitment to the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative (HLRI). We are proud to be the organization's first reforestation partner on the island of Oahu, with an entire piece of land on which Kahala guests and supporters can plant native trees. With your donation, a tree will be planted in your name (or dedicated to someone else) on Oahu's North Shore. As a token of our appreciation for your donation, you'll receive $50 off any spa treatment at The Kahala.
