Oahu Activities Guide


Pilot your own plane, drive an ATV into scenic valleys, hike in the mountains or take a tropical bike ride through the lush Puu Ohia rainforest. There are plenty of exhilarating activities to keep you entertained.

ATV Tours

Guests can drive their own all terrain vehicle (ATV) deep into the scenic valleys and remote areas rarely visited by others. ATV tours will always happen, rain or shine; rambling through mud and crossing seasonal streams are part of the fun! The one-hour tour will take you over a saddle trail to visit movie sites located on 1,000-acre valley. The two-hour tour takes you even further in the valley to experience breathtaking views.

Majestic Circle Island tour

Journey between rugged mountains, white coastlines, and blue waters to lush rainforests. Visit natural wonders and the sites of ancient battles along the way. Discover the cultural wonders in historic Waimea Valley. Take in sweeping panoramic views and discover all Oahu’s majestic grandeur.

Afternoon Reef Snorkel

This adventure takes you to the outer side of the Turtle Canyon reef. Enjoy the best snorkeling platform in a site inaccessible from the beach. Light snacks and drinks are available.

2 Tank Boat Dives

Explore the magical underwater metropolis of Oahu. Cruise through the turtle cleaning stations as you look for spotted eagle rays and mantas. Float above the pristine coral heads where the juvenile reef fish play. The real wonder lies under the sea!

Ali'i Sacred Falls

This grand adventure includes everything in our other tours but continues past Sacred Falls, over the Polynesian Cultural Center, one of Hawaii’s most popular visitor attractions, and the Mormon Temple in Laie. You’ll also see Turtle Bay, the aquaculture farms and Kahuku Point. Don’t be surprised if you see humpback whales offshore during the winter months. The tour continues along the storied North Shore, with a dramatic view of world-renowned surfing spots including Sunset Beach, Pipeline and Waimea Bay. On your way over Oahu’s Central Plain, you’ll see the Dole Pineapple maze and the ‘birthing stones’ of Hawaiian royalty. Your tour concludes with a panoramic vista of Pearl Harbor.

Introductory Dive

You don’t have to be certified to experience scuba diving. Experienced instructors will teach you the basic skills to go out and have a first safe and fun dive. For non-certified divers, this training/dive experience includes all essential gear and instruction for a PADI Discover Scuba Course.

Executive Open Water Certification

Receive your PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Certification Card in as little as three days. This course gives you the skills and certification to dive in any ocean in the world. Experienced instructors will teach you how to be safe and confident divers. The complete classes include four open water dives, with completely flexible scheduling.

100% Mountain Biking

The dramatic beauty of the lush Ka’a'awa Valley, majestic Koolau Mountain cliffs and stunning ocean views are the backdrop for this epic mountain biking experience on Oahu. Capture the thrill of riding along scenic dirt roads, double track and single track, as we explore this sacred and historic Hawaiian valley. This is the same site for the Hawaiian Mountain Tour Pro/Am, the 24 Hours of Hell Mountain Bike Race and many other off-road triathlons. With a multitude of trails to choose from, we can easily cater the experience to your skill level.

Deep Sea Fishing

Enjoy the thrill of deep sea fishing and the backdrop of stunning scenery, on one of Oahu’s finest sport fishing charter boats. With the combination of experienced crews and some of the best sport fishing grounds found anywhere in the world, you have the recipe for an unforgettable experience.

Parasailing Adventure

Take your vacation to new heights and soar above the ocean. Anyone can do this, from young to old, and experience is required. You can combine a Parasail Adventure with a Jet Ski Thrill Ride for maximum adventure!

Jet Ski Thrill Ride

Rip across the surf with state-of-the-art runner-style skis! All jet skiing takes place in beautiful Maunalua Bay, framed by the Koolau Mountains. You can combine a Jet Ski Thrill Ride with a Parasailing Adventure for added adventure!

Kalaupapa Experience

A visit to Kalaupapa, where St. Damien gave his life in his mission for Hansen’s disease patients, ranks as one of the most memorable experiences in Hawaii. A mini bus will take you from the hotel to the airport, where your private aircraft will fly you in comfort to Kalaupapa. Here, your guide will take you on a comprehensive ground tour, where you’ll learn about the devotion and historical context of the canonized saint. On the flight back to Oahu, you’ll be treated to a stunning view of the Molokai sea cliffs, the highest in the world, as well as the mountains, valleys and waterfalls of this unspoiled island. The entire trip, door-to-door, will take approximately seven hours.

Horseback Adventure

This tour takes you through magnificent vistas riding across a 4,000-acre property and ranch. You will see where famous movies were made, visit WWII bunkers and check out the ranch’s Brangus cattle. The one-hour ride crosses pastures and wooded trails to a scenic overlook above an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond. A longer two-hour horseback tour also visits gorgeous Ka’a'awa Valley where Jurassic Park, Windtalkers, You, Me & Dupree, 50 First Dates and Lost were filmed.

Pilot Your Own Plane

A qualified flight instructor will help you take the controls and learn how to take off, cruise, descend and approach to land in a Cirrus SR22, the world's easiest and safest aircraft. Used as a primary trainer by the USAF Academy, the aircraft is equipped with a built in parachute system for added safety. Fly along the entire coastline of North Shore Molokai, used in the opening scene of Jurassic Park 3. Your instructor will take the controls while you can soak in the stunning views over the world’s tallest sea cliffs and some of the most glorious waterfalls in all of Hawaii. The entire lesson will be recorded on two video cameras.

Snorkel Sail

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat lunch at sea and snorkel in Hawaii’s azure waters at Turtle Canyon. This eco-conscious cruise lets you see green sea turtles playing off the Waikiki coast and visiting whales in season (Nov-April).

Exclusive Rainforest Hike

Discover the hidden hiking treasures of Oahu’s lush volcanic rainforest. This moderate two-mile guided hike is a rare opportunity to explore 75-acres of sacred land. Experience the majestic beauty of a towering 200-foot private waterfall, cross through tranquil streams, picturesque pools and view ancient lo`i (rock terraces) and lush tropical vegetation. With average year-round temperatures of 80 degrees (cooler in the rainforest), refreshing trade winds and two volcanic mountain ranges on this Hawaiian island, Oahu is a hiker’s paradise.

Rainforest to the Reef

If you fancy a combination of hiking, biking, sailing and snorkeling, then this family-friendly activity is for you. Begin the day on an exclusive stream and waterfall hike, then coast five miles downhill on mountain bikes over paved road through a lush Oahu rainforest. Once you reach the bottom, enjoy a delicious deli-lunch and beverage before a quick shuttle to Kewalo Basin. You’ll board the 38.6ft Kahala Kai catamaran, with its twin 140hp engines and Bose Sound System, and set sail on the blue Pacific Ocean for a relaxing adventure off beautiful Waikiki. Swim or snorkel in the warm waters fronting Waikiki Beach as you search for green sea turtles and tropical reef fish. You may even spot whales and dolphins.

Pearl Harbor & Circle Island

This complete package includes a visit to the historic USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, followed by a 120-mile full-day circle island tour. This tour will allow you to board the USS Arizona Memorial to reflect on the events of that fateful day. The second part of your tour is a sightseeing bonanza from panoramic views to lush tropical rain forests. This is a must-do tour for visitors with a limited amount of time.

Downhill Bike Adventure

This easy five-mile tropical bike ride coasts downhill on a paved road nestled in the lush Puu Ohia rainforest. This unique experience takes in Hawaii’s tropical rainforest, magnificent panoramic views of scenic Oahu, the fragrance of tropical fruits and flowers, Hawaiian culture and history, native species of birds and animals and unique geological features. A great bike tour for the family! Not recommended for children under five years of age.

Half Circle Island Tour

Travel to Oahu’s central plain for a half-day tour and observe one of Hawaii’s last major pineapple crops. At your visit to Dole Plantation, hop on the Pineapple Express Train Tour and learn about the history of agriculture in Hawaii and the founder, Mr James Dole. Lose yourself in the world’s largest maze and visit the Dole Garden to see the varieties of local flora that enhance Hawaii’s natural beauty. Finally, discover the picturesque scenery of Hawaii’s famous North Shore.

Submarine Tour

Descending 100 feet underwater in a submarine is an adventure in itself. You will also get to see real marine life up close in a fascinating dive site. Known for its quality and safety, this adventure is an eye-opening experience that takes you beyond the classroom as you learn about coral, reef life and submersibles while visiting our sunken shipwrecks, airplane and other artificial reefs. The submarine has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. If you haven’t been to the bottom of the ocean before, this tour is a must do!

Pearl Harbor – Home of the Brave Tour

Take a sentimental journey through time and embrace the very sights and sounds of an era that changed the course of history forever. Throughout the day you will learn interesting historical facts about the events before and after the attack on Pearl Harbor, while visiting the Arizona Memorial, Wheeler Air Field, Schofield Army Barracks, Fort Shafter, Punchbowl National Memorial and Home of the Brave Museum.
