Honolulu, Hawaii…Travel + Leisure Magazine has announced its 2012 World’s Best Awards based on Reader Surveys. The Kahala Hotel & Resort on Oahu was named in Hawaii’s Top Ten of World’s Best Resorts.
The results of the 17th annual Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards reader’s survey were announced July 6 in New York City. The results will be featured as the cover story of Travel + Leisure’s August issue expected to be on newsstands July 20. Each year, readers are invited to participate in the questionnaire which is developed by the editors of Travel + Leisure in association with ROI Research Inc. The 2012 results include a variety of lists naming top resorts, hotels, cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, rental car agencies, and other travel related businesses.
The Kahala Hotel & Resort has also received many other accolades this year including Condé Nast Traveler Magazine Reader’s Choice Award for Top 20 Resort Spas in Hawaii (No. 1 on Oahu); and Top 20 Resorts in Hawaii (No. 3).
