JANICE ISHIHARA AND KERRY KUHL JOIN LANDMARK HOTELS GROUP
Honolulu, Hawaii, December 18th, 2013…The Landmark Hotels Group, management company of The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu and Makena Beach & Golf Resort in Maui, recently announced the appointments of Janice Ishihara and Kerry Kuhl as Regional Sales Managers for both resorts.
In announcing the appointments Shawn Sweeney, President and Chief Operations Officer of Landmark, added, “ We are pleased to have these two Hawaii sales professionals join us at this time as we continue to increase the amount of meetings and incentive business from the regions that Ms. Ishihara and Ms. Kuhl will be covering. They are both performance driven individuals with experience which will enhance our sales program under the leadership of Danny Breatchel, Vice President of Sales and our Directors of Sales at The Kahala, Roger Bright and at Makena, Randy Parker.’
Janice Ishihara is responsible for the Mid West market and is based at The Kahala. She started her assignment in November after three years as Director of Sales at The Kauai Beach Resort. With over 20 years experience selling Hawaii, her career started with Classic Resorts; she later joined Prince Resorts selling the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. She has served in senior sales and marketing positions with the Hyatt Regency Maui, Princeville Resort, Turtle Bay Resort as well as the Mid Pacific Country Club. Kerry Kuhl is a seasoned hospitality sales veteran with over 25 years experience selling Hawaii including tenure with the Maui Marriott, the former Stouffer Wailea Beach Resort, as well as three years experience with the then Maui Prince Hotel (now Makena). Her most recent sales positions have been with the Dolce Hayes Mansion & Conference Center and the Le Rivage Hotel and Spa, both in Northern California.
