Renowned for its innovative culinary style and service, Hoku's serves Contemporary Island Cuisine, melding Hawaiian, Asian, Mediterranean and European flavors.
The menu has been expanded to include an exotic variety of new dishes, such as Roasted Colorado Rack of Lamb (Broccolini, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Tomato Fondue, Red Wine & Herb Jus*), Banana Leaf & Herb Smoked Beef Tenderloin (Asparagus, Hearts of Palm, Coconut Curry Sauce Lime Oil, Red wine Sauce), Scallops & Escargot (Wok Fried with Garlic & Garden Parsley Butter).
Hoku's Still my favorite fine dining establishment on Oahu
A nice location in corner of the famous Kahala Resort with views of the pool and beach. There are 2 dishes that are my favorite: seafood tower and the Whole Fish of Onaga that is fried. The fish is served with fried rice and steamed vegetables. The 2 dishes are pricey but for $250, you get a great meal for 4 people which is reasonable for fine dining. There is a dress code so dressy pants and collared shirts. I just went Alan Wong's and is say Hoku is slightly better because of the view and location at a resort so things to so before and/or after dinner. The past 2 times I've gone, I've also seen a double rainbow so my lucky place as well. Posted on Yelp.com, Greg K., 8/15/2015

“Plumeria Beach House Terrific Seafood Buffet”
The weekend sea food themed buffet is great. They offer outstanding Prime Rib but the real treasure is the crab. The crab legs have big claws, and are fresh and delicious. The scenery is great, and you can't beat sitting out ocean front and watching the sun set. If you go early, there is plenty of outside seating and the environment is great. If you like sea food, this is the place for you. Posted on TripAdvisor.com, Visited September 2015
This comfortable lounge is located adjacent to the lobby overlooking the Dolphin Lagoon with both indoor and outdoor seating amidst lush tropical decor. Serving afternoon tea, cocktails and light pupus in the evening.
Afternoon tea is a delight with delicate finger sandwiches and pastries and teas from The Harney Collection. The Veranda also offers a menu of Mediterranean inspired small plates complements the innovative cocktail list.
“The Veranda Stunning Views With Great Food”
Went for the views but found this bar-style restaurant with a great view. Located in the Kahala Hotel, this site is well know for its sensational restaurants. Sine the main restaurant was closed the day we visited, we tried the bar with a limited menu. The food was outstanding. Seared Tuna melted in your mouth and Onion Soup with Maui Onions were divine. Other items were equally good. Parking is pricy but complementary with restaurant meal purchase. Service was slow at first, but Scott was an exceptional server who made things happen. A definite must for any visit. Posted on TripAdvisor.com, Visited June 2015
