Sweethearts will be swooning over the special dinner Chef Wayne Hirabayashi has prepared for your Valentine’s week fine dining experience. Hoku’s Lover’s menu begins with Anticipation—shrimp with hibiscus and Kaffir lime salt. The Flirtation course includes seared day boat jumbo sea scallops made with vanilla, beets, and crispy nori. The Romance course features fresh island catch of the day served with coconut rice and passion fruit sauce. Next up is the Passion course with Lehua honey lavender-glazed duck served with baby bok choy and turnips. For dessert, Sweet Additions—Valrhona Ivorie includes white and dark bitter chocolate heart, cocoa nib meringue, and fresh raspberry coulis. Special wines will be paired for a complimentary dining experience.
